she usually does it when shes relaxed. she also makes other weird noises when she breaths.im worried do i need ti take her to the vet.

Think she might be snoring? They do snore and make noises when they are sleeping. If your kitty doesn't do it while she is awake. I don't see any cause for alarm. For your sake tho, you could call your vet and ask some one there if it is any thing to worry about. I grew up with cats, worked around cats for years and still own cats. In fact, one of the cats that I have now snores and makes faint vocal sounds as well when she sleeps. Hope this helped out a bit.

My friend has three cats and i have heard them do that all the time. But i also do think they have a respitory infection that should go away over time. Dont worry, if there was something seriously wrong the vet would figure it out.

Sometimes this is normal for cats because they were born like that,but if you dont know check with your local vet.If it does have a prob take him to the vet.

my cat did the same thing when it was born. all it means is that it has a little sinus cold or a cold
