Denying gays health care. You must be so pround of yourselves.

The sad thing is that so many of them ARE proud of that. They see themselves as doing good by denying any rights to people who are an 'abomination.'

How that 'protects' marriage I will never know.

a gay can get health care the same way any other person can...through a job, private insurance, etc...JUST NOT through their gay lover. Unfortunately, one day they will get to dilute marriage and strip away the meaning of family so why are you so worked up? It's only a matter of time. I'm not happy about it but it IS inevitable.

ok they are not denying gay couples insurance to protect marriage. gay marriages are already not allowed in Michigan, that is why insurance for gay couples is not allowed. this has nothing to do with Christians. it has to do with the law. good for Michigan. being gay is immoral, and i is sad that the only ones that recognize it is Christians. you don't have to like the law but since it is the law live with it and quit blaming Christians for every hardship you endure. we don't blame non believers for everything we don't like that happens.

It just depends upon your definition of marriage. You will never agree with Christians if you do not put your belief system into the same perspective as the Bible.

You do not have to agree with the Bible. That is your prerogative, but if the prevailing culture DOES, then a person who disagrees with the cultural norms and mores is going to be upset. I can tell that is your position from your tone of language.

Sorry, I am unable to convince you that marriage is a commitment between one man and one woman. Ergo, you will be justifying yourself by statements like "You (I presume you mean Bible-believing Christians) must be so pround (sic) of yourselves." I am only glad that my faith is able to keep me focused on my own growth, and I leave yours up to you. I may influence you, but I cannot change you.

the whole definition of marriage the title and union is a principle from god friend in which homosexuality is considered unnatural and not acceptable in the eyes of god. you can buy health insurance anywhere, why are you trying to twist what the definition of marriage and act as if it was founded by homsexuals. we need a savior today friend and that savior is jesus, wont you accept him today.

FACT - NOTHING has been TAKEN AWAY from them.

FACT - People have choices.

What do you thnink? Can you have government where the entirety of everybody's (and I mean EVERYBODY'S ) own personal beliefs are addressed with laws???

Then its basically everyone does what they want with no consequences. Where in real life does this happen?

Where in YOUR life does this happen?
Where in YOUR life do you allow it to happen?
All areas? All the time?
No dislike or intolerance on your part in your life?

America is a republic and sadly for some - that means rule by majority - whadya think elections are about?

Yes that is Christian love.

It is called correction and yes it does protect the sanctity of marriage between a man and a woman as God has designed it. I'm looking forward to a lot more Christian love in society as we begin to rule during the millennium.

What is cruel is misusing a sacred gift to bring corruption to everyone. Yes everyone suffers in a society where wrong is treated as being right. Cruel cruel people who disobey God. They only care about themselves.

Ignorance and unbelief will not save you from the consequences of disobedience.

Yes, this is beating a dead horse, as someone mentioned. I'd have thought everyone would know by now how hypocritical and non-loving and hateful the Christian religion is....but I guess not, that horse is still kicking.

Sadly, hate, discrimination, and inequality are perfect examples of xtian "love".

Their are higher priorities in life than gay marriage, healthcare coverage, and sodomy ... at least for most of us.
