as long as power is synonymous with money there is no way for corruption to be eradicated from planet Earth. if the power to heal, the power to be caring and clean in your environment, the power to be kind and generous were held in as high esteem as the power to live in luxury and to subjugate the environment and other humans to your will there would be no corruption because the motivation of corruption is to fulfill a need to find esteem in power
and peer envy. humans, it seems, are more in awe of those who can threaten and exploit them than of those who love and would care about them. the rich circulate the wealth and power amongst themselves while those who generate the wealth for them sink deeper into powerlessness and poverty. it's the hope of the terminally poor and powerless to someday be top dog that makes heroes of greedy smugly destructive CEOs and war profiteering politicians.
