Since the science is distorted, it hard to give it more than a D-.
As a documentary it gets an F because it distorts the facts and leaves out the real reasons that lakes are low and snow is missing from Kilimanjaro, for example.
I think Algore knows the real reasons, but doesn't want the truth to get in the way of his agenda. Or maybe he's just that ignorant. (He did flunk out of divinity school and he was voted as our dumbest vice president.)
As a propaganda piece it gets a B+. The lies in this film are almost as well constructed as those in Fahrenheit 911.
For self promotion it gets a B also. He comes across as pathetic and you have to pity him in parts of the movie.

I felt it was well-documented and researched, and I learned a few things from it myself.
I even laughed out loud during the "frog in a pot of hot water" analogy.
I find it unfortunate in the extreme that so many Americans have bashed this film and it's message just because it was Al Gore delivering it. Another case of "hide the head in the sand" syndrome, and allowing of political opinion to shout down the facts of a situation we all need to deal with.

I don't intend to watch it until Al accepts the debate challenge from the Junk Science people. I suspect that the climate change issue is a convenient tool to further Al's main cause which is a more powerful more intrusive government.

I thought it was a good introduction to the science behind global climate change, but I really could have lived without the personal history that was included.

I felt it was just a tool he used to help his party out, he never gave a damn when he was in office did he??
