This is definately serious. But you need to get the correct information. This could be just an infection that your body is fighting off. It is normal for lymph nodes to often swell. But you definately need to get in to the doctor, tomarrow. If it is causing sever pain then go to the ER today. Take care of yourself. So often things can be quickly and easily treated. But if people wait....thinking that it will go away on it's own or that it's nothing, then it could become very serious to treat.

God bless you and take care.

I have survived Lymphoma. It started with one swollen lymph node at the base of my neck. There are many things that make lymph nodes swell. You need to find out what's going on. If it's something bad, there are great treatments out there.
Here's a site with great info:

Please get yourself to an ENT (ear, nose and throat doctor). The quicker you take care of this, the better the outcome will be. As you know, there can be a lot of disability from oral cancer. Prevent it from getting worse; there may still be time to prevent further lymph node involvement.
