I mean do they actually have a strategy to WIN the war in Iraq. Cut & run sounds like a strategy for losers to me. How are going to leave Iraq with a civil war? Poor iraqi civilizans, the insurgents are probably going to kill them!
And NO, Iraq has not the enough military to win a war like this.

This is why we need an experienced President in the White House in 2008. Vote John McCain.

Hillary will cut & run. Obama will cut & run. The others stand no chance.

As opposed to " stay and die " ? I don't see any chance of " victory" in Iraq. Out side of Bush's fantasies, more and more of his supporters feel the same way. If you feel so badly about the poor Iraqi citizens, then why did you support the invasion in the first place. Most Iraqis were better off under Saddam than they are today. The people who think we can win a victory in Iraq are sadly mistaken and delusional. Its a sectarian killing zone today and largely thanks to Mr Bush and his war. So what will a victory look like - and how is this in the national interest ?

The Dem position is that there is no "victory" possible. So the question falls back to Repubs. What strategy will Bush employ that will create a differant outcome than just patrolling Baghdad and baiting snipers and IEDs. Saddam is gone. We can not stay forever holding their hands. They will NEVER be able to get along and sort themselves out. Just not in their makeup to responsibly police themselves. Name one successful democracy that is mixed sects over there and is not ruled like Saddam did to the Iraqis. Egypt....don't make me laugh. Assasinations are common there. Saudi.....again, I said mixed. If you remember last week we lost a helo. in a battle that was Shiites against Shiites. What the hell is that crap about?

Murtha is suggesting that US forces redploy to Anbar provence to prevent some foreign fighters from entering and some soldiers in the north of Iraq to prevent the Kurds from forming their own independant country. He plans on moving US forces back into central and southern Iraq after the civil war between the Sunnis and Shiites calms down.

No they need to patrol the border between Iraq and Iran so that more insurgents aren't coming in and being supplied.
Why this wasn't done 2 1/2 years ago I can't understand!

Bush and his war have had enough time to address this issue!

call it what you will. Iraq is a multitude and could stay a multitude. regardless of if we leave at present or in 5 years it won't matter. Are you sufficiently previous to undergo in innovations Viet Nam? some portion of the midsection-east is often in turmoil and could be whilst quickly as we leave, and because whilst is Iraq our best chum? We broken our international credibility as quickly as we entered Iraq, we are able to in basic terms advance our international photograph via leaving. i think of it would desire to be you misinterpreting the election outcomes. it relatively is all with reference to the conflict. maximum international places in the midsection-east hate the U. S., and the freeing of Iraq in basic terms gave them extra reason to realize this. Democracy won't be able to be compelled onto people. historic past shows us as a lot. there is not any favorable consequence for all in touch. The Iraq government is not any closer to status on its feet than it became into the superb option after their elections. If it relatively tries to impose some form of regulation and order, the outlaws will initiate assassinating people who attempt. Get this fact at present, no stable will come from our infantrymen being there. you may no longer defeat recommendations and ideology with protection rigidity rigidity, you may in basic terms kill people and as long as we are there this is the only ingredient which will proceed.

cut & run was something the Republicans made up
