Hair repair starts from the inside. It's important to follow a healthy diet, drink lots of water, exercise and take vitamins. My hair is also very straight and fine, however, I do get it highlighted but trimmed often enough where I don't get split ends. I use Suave professionals for color treated hair. Try taking some pre-natal vitamins which can help the quality of hair and nails. If this doesn't help, then you can talk to a stylist to see what they recommend, but honestly, if you're not healthy on the inside, it shows on the outside.

All hair is dead, and you can't repair it. The best you can do is cut the worst of it off and take care of it with SALON products, not walmart/drug store products.
