Don't you love the "taken out of context" claims made by people when these quotes aren't?
The quotes stand for themselves.
I think that you've made some very good points and the bible needs to be questioned.

Man, if you've read the Bible, then you know that it is quite easy to pick out a verse and use it to say whatever you want it to say. Just look at what satan did when Jesus was in the desert for 40 days and 40 nights. He took scripture passages and tried to get Jesus to stray from God's will based on one or two passages.
So, is it true that God's word endures forever? Yes. Is this what we should keep in mind in reference to your other questions? No, seeing as one man's interpretation is not authoritative... I don't subscribe to the "everybody can interpret scripture for themselves" stuff, precisely because of stunts like this. The authentic interpretation of scripture comes only with the gift of the Holy Spirit and that is given to the magisterium of the Church. And yes, I'm a papist. Next question, you satan.

YES!! Thank God, you finally got it!!
The Old Testament tells the history of the Israelites, the people through whom God chose to bring the Savior of the world, Jesus Christ. It demonstrates the need for purity of heart and obedience to God's commandments.
And in due season, the Messiah was born, thus beginning the New Testament. He came to fulfill the Law and to give us the commandment to love one another as He has loved us. The Word of our God will stand forever!
Oh, there *is* one little detail that you should know. Isaiah 55:11 says:
"So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it."
I'll be praying for you as the Word takes effect in your life.

you are missing the point friend, the word of god is forever and for all people but there is such a thing as a particular time a particular place and particular people. there are many things in the bible that still ring true today but i will give you an example, in the book of joshua it says to cross the jordan river, now does that mean that just because he told joshua and israel to cross the jordan river that even it is supposed to apply to the christian today to go cross the jordan river, no of course not, that is what context is about friend.

And this is true. The Word of God has endured and will endure, regardless of man's attempts to extinguish it. I fail to see the point of your question here.

That is just an opinion, like every other thing ever written by man. I think love will stand forever! :) but I'm a hopeless romantic!

The scriptures testify to the truth. They will stand forever. You will pass away, heaven and earth shall pass away, but his words will never pass away.

What is that - like 6 idiotic questions in the last 20 minutes?
You really need to get out more.
Still reading the Bible, I see.
