Why not go learn how to cook? Get a cooking show.
Or go drive a race car?
Or learn how to fly a plane?

Good question.
Answer: It's gone. It will never come back. It left you way back then when life was a fairytale and was good and beautiful. Just try to wait this one out for a while. We'll all be dead soon enough anyway. Then you won't have to worry about pesky things like "passion, the laughter the money ,the JOY".

Fun, passion, laughter, and joy are easy. You just have to readjust your attitudes and outlook, and maybe change a few of your activities. You'll probably have to work for the money.

Go into ministry and spread the Word of GOD.
Easiest place to start is http://www.ulc.org
There will be fun, there will be passion especially preaching the Word of God, there will be laughter, of course there will be sadness, there will be little money at first, and lots of JOY Spreading the Word of GOD.

To get a new life, you must redeem your old one.
Joy is living in Scottsdale, Arizona.
The Passion was in movie theaters, can probably find it at Blockbuster.
The money is all with the governments (and Donald Trump and Bill Gates)
Laughter can be found by listening to the 3 entities mentioned above.

More info. would be helpful. But as far as for me, I've hit a few slumps where I've felt that way. Basically, they way I get out of them is to focus. Work on a few goals, bake some cookies and give them to the nextdoor neighbor (if this is your thing), do a few service things. Plan a party! The best times of my life have been when I've been involved (but not stressed out). But maybe take a road trip in the spring (when you can go camping and don't have to spend a lot of money) It doesn't take a ton of money to have fun and to refocus and have fun.
I hope this helps.

There is an easy answer. Give your life to Jesus, and the passion will come, the money won't matter, and you will be filled with a peace like no other. Visit a church of your choosing with a friend. God bless you!

Change it yourself. no one is going to magically make anything better. If something is dragging you down, CHANGE IT. don't do it any more. Surround yourself with people who bring out the best you possible, with the most fun. create a reason for passion, find joy in the little things. don't expect great things to happen. make little things great with your every day actions. What goes around come around, so make the best of life as it is.

Everyone's familiar with the old expression, "The grass is always greener over there." The trouble is that if you GO over there, and take care of that grass just like you took care of your PREVIOUS grass... well... the grass is always greener over there.
You are the source of everything you'll ever need in life. I know it sounds corny--bumper sticker, actually--but truer words have never been spoken.
The problem with popular culture is that it's dupped us. We live our lives as if someday, magically, we'll arrive in Never-Never Land. We'll find ourselves with all the money we either need or want. We'll be sharing our lives with the perfect person who caters to our every need. We'll be world-renouned in our chosen fields--recognized as experts, "the one to see" on a given topic or passion.
That pain you just felt--the same pain that made you write your question--is reality, and it punches hard. As should it! Without challenge, there are no sucesses in life.
The trick is to put stuff into your life that you feel passionate about. I don't know you, so I'll use my own life to deminstrate what I'm talking about.
1) I love animals. Always have. Reptiles especially, but pretty much anything with a heartbeat gets my attention. So I've got two dogs, two cats, an iguana, two fishtanks, and a sub-adult caiman crocodile. I live in a miniature zoo! But they're each and every one part of one of my passions, and they're in my life no matter what else happens. I also occassionally volunteer at my local zoo if time permits.
2) I'm a huge fan of the human body. Relax--I'm not talking porn! But having grown up overweight and out of shape, I took an extreme interest in physical fitness. I even went to work as a certified personal fitness trainer to help others. Presently, I have no issues about being out of shape... because I'm not, anymore! You always have control of yourself--take it!
3) I love movies. Even went to film school right out of high school. I certainly don't use my training much, but it taught me a deeper understanding of the films I go and see.
4) Guitars. All styles, shapes, sizes--and all the many stlyes of music they produce. From metal to blues, and everything sandwiched in between. Do I consider myself a good player? Nope. I fumble more notes than I ring. But the pleasure of picking one of those things up, plugging in, and grabbing a pick is irreplacable in my life.
I could go on, but now I want to let you in on that little punch I mentioned before: Reality. My life is full of things I enjoy and people I cherish--and I wouldn't have it any other way. It's been hard work, but a labor of love. Still, it didn't stop me from getting cancer (Hodgkin's Disease Lymphoma, three relapses, presently in remission). It didn't stop me from having to quit filming my independant film (cancer's expensive!). It also put my personal training business on hold for awhile. This isn't me feeling sorry for myself--quite the contrary; having so many things in my life that I enjoy got me through it!
As it should be with you. Find the things you love--you already know what those things are; all you have to do is listen to yourself. Chase passion, not money... money only buys stuff. Stuff that's obsolete as soon as you cut open the box. It's your life--so you get to be the one (Big Daddy, if you will) who has the honor of figuring out what it means to you.
I know you'll make some good choices!
