IMO, all Dale Jr is asking for is for part of his father's company. Dale Sr started DEI for his children...NOT THERESA! Dale Jr is asking for what is rightfully his. If it wasn't for Dale Jr then DEI would have been shut down a long time ago.

Theresa better open her eyes and realize that without Dale Jr...there is no DEI. Dale Jr is the glue that is holding DEI up. It's a shame because with Dale Jr every little thing he does gets blown up.

If Theresa wanted to keep this quiet then she should have not publicly called him out the way that she did. She brought this all on herself.

No, the stats do not surprise me or any of Juniors loyal fans. He isn't the first and he won't be the last driver to have a "bad year". I know from experience...I am a Cleveland Indians & Browns fan so I know all about bad seasons. The only reason the stats surprise people is because they don't pay attention to them. They are too busy dissing on Junior and hating him which is sad. Stats don't mean anything to them. Part of your statement is very true, when they get the right hook up for Junior a whole lot of people better look out. Dang right he'll be a handful. Even though he's had horrible luck this year, he still has what it takes to back it up...statistics. Whatever he does off the track has nothing to do with his performance on the track and shouldn't even be thought of as a factor. That's private and personal. He will be back and then watch the momentum of the haters & dissers jump on Juniors Band wagon. Nice post, have a star. Good luck to everyone's driver this weekend. JMHO

I think it's terrible. I'm a Jeff Gordon/pablo montoya fan but to see Dale go through what he is going through makes me sick. I feel bad for him. Theresa, although I guess I can understand why she doesn't come to races. Maybe she still feels bad about Dale Sr. She can however, not rush Dale Jr on winning a cup title. Juniors a good driver and is the money making driver for DEI. Dale jr. is DEI. Get rid of him and DEI goes down. He deserves part ownership.

I agree with fireman4u. Theresa has no right to carry on the way she is. Dale Jr. is DEI. His father started DEI to help him get a start on his racing career. DEI is his father's legacy. Who is she to come between father and son? Does anyone think this would be happening if Dale Sr. was still alive? Dale Jr. is "The Most Popular Driver" in Nascar voted by the fans. He has the most merchandise and huge sponsors. If he left DEI all of that would go with him. Theresa is a greedy money hungry fool! Is that anyway to honour your husband's memory? She is only thinking of herself and if she goes too far she will end up with nothing.

i agree with alot of the posts already but let me throw my two cents worth in. i think that without jr, teresa should just close up shop and move away cause she wont get no respect in this country anymore. i agree also that she is greedy and controlling...Sr's kids deserve to be treated much better than she is treating them. there must b a reason y Kelly doesnt have much to do with her. i also think that although jr is my fav, Kerry should b treated equally in comparison to Jr. I can just imagine how "their" daughter is treated as a princess by Teresa while Sr's other kids are put on the back burner. Never did care much for Teresa, shes all about the money. I have a step son and he always came before anything or anyone else...at least until my daughter was born. then things changed. i think jr should take that bud sponsor and go to rcr or begin his own team. dei wouldnt b any competition.

I think that Dale Jr. will be better off if he got out from under teresa.
I believe that she is holding him back and tries to keep a tight rein on him. She I believe is power and money hungry and also controling. I think that she should back off and leave Jr. alone.
But she know if she loses him all that money will leave with him.
She needs to figure out who is bringing the money into DEI and
start treating the kids of Dale Sr. the way they need to be treated.

If Theresa does not give JR whatever he wants she is a damn fool. JR is DEI. If JR was to race somewhere else, DEI would be out of business in 5 years. There is no DEI without JR.

I think it sucks. I'm a huge Jr. fan. I would hate for him to leave D.E.I because his father started it. Theresa needs to understand one of the reasons that D.E.I is still going today is because of Jr. He needs to let what she says slide and stay with the company.

Racing has turned into something like the WWE with all of the over the top drama and commercialization. Honestly, after you get done meeting all of the committees pre-race stipulations, your Chevy is no different than that Ford or Honda. The rest is all marketing and television flash and not much substance. God, it makes Talledage NIghts look like a documentary.
