My hair is to my shoulders, it's kind of thick and its dark blonde. What kind of hair cut should I get? By the way, I'm 12, so it can't be "over the top" or my parents won't allow it.

I think you should go with side bangs because theyre super cute and totally in right now, but if you do those you should probably straighten your hair for a sleeker style.
Also, I'd suggest you dont do layers because theyre really meant to give your hair a thicker fuller look and it sounds to me like you already have the fullness. You might wanna go with angles, if you dont do the side bangs because they give your hair some flare without adding volume. Good luck!

I would say get some side bangs and layers. I love highlights.. so you could get like light brown if your hair is like REALLY blonde. I don't know, I think that'd be cute.
