Hi, Happy Birthday for later this month. Unfortunately, it's not quite 'kitten season' at the moment & so there are only a few kittens around - a lot of them priced quite high if you're buying privately. The only ad I've spotted are for tabby kittens up in London ...
http://household.uk.freeads.net/I_have_5_beautiful_kittens-364691.htm
You could maybe also try searching on these sites:
http://www.pets4homes.co.uk/pets4homes/home.nsf/Cats/
http://www.adtrader.co.uk/classhome.php?class_id=179&trader_id=9001&class_name=Cats
Kittenlist & Preloved also carry adverts - however I've just had a quick look for you & couldn't see any adverts (now at least) for tabby kittens in Dorset:
http://www.kittenlist.co.uk/
http://www.preloved.co.uk/fuseaction-adverts.listadverts/sec-Home%20and%20Family/cat-Pets%20and%20Livestock/subcat-Cats/7e7435db.html
However, there are lots of rescue centres based in Dorset & you may get lucky at one of these ... if not now, then maybe in a few weeks time. This webpage has links to the rescue centres:
http://www.catchat.org/adoption/dorset.html
I noticed that the Pound Kitten Rescue DOES have a tabby - unfortunately, Sparkle is at the other end of her life as she's 14 years old ... she's very affectionate ....
http://ppar.dogrescue.net/cats.htm?1
The youngest tabby at the Dorset RSPCA seems to be Jamie at 6 months - he's gorgeous, all fluffy but a bit nervous & needs to be rehomed with his sister, tabby & white Nellie ... how do you feel about two kittens for your birthday?
http://www.westdorsetrspca.org/cats_in_need_of_homes.htm
Anyway, hope the links help you ... there are probably cats & kittens that are available but just not listed on the various website.
Good luck.

What state are you in?
There are many great animal shelters and rescue groups in your area that have many pets including cats, kittens, puppys, dogs and more.
You can find a place in your area at:

Stay away from pet stores. They are part of the problem of our pet overpopulation.

Get a ktty from a shelter. I've got the most precious thing from the animal sheltar in my city. He picked me though, so look around until you you find one that REALLY wants you. My kitty is a grey tabby too!

Go through the Cat Protection League to get one. They make sure you get a fit and healthy one. Your local vet will point you in the right direction.
