What about hormone imbalances? Hormones are definitely chemicals. Do Scientologists believe there's no such thing as a hormone imbalance? So... IS there such a thing as a hormone imbalance?

Don't be a jerk and don't copy and paste a bunch of crap. I just wanna know what Scientologists believe and if they're right.

Of course there can be a hormonal imbalance. Blood tests will show it and very exactly identify which hormone. A medical doctors can then prescribe correct amounts of that exact hormone this is called hormone replacement therapy and is an exact science which deals with physical health and usually results in a cure. This is medical science.
The issue that Scientologists have is with the pseudo-science of psychiatry. Mental health problems being diagnosed by psychiatrists as a "chemical imbalance" , for which NO medical tests exist to support the claim and the "treatment" does not result in a cure.
This fact is openly admitted by psychiatry.
Dr Steven Sharfein , president of the APA in 2005, conceded,
"We do not have a clear-cut lab test" to prove the existence of a chemical imbalance.
Ron Leifer New york psychiatrist said.. "There is no biological imbalance. when people claim they have a biochemical imbalance I say, Show me your lab tests... There are no lab tests.
This is a psychiatric "diagnosis" with no medical science to support it.
What chemical is out of balance? There are hundreds of chemicals in our bodies.
In the 1990's, the U.S. National Institute of Mental Health devised a new marketing ploy called "Decade of the Brain" to justify more funds for "research of a biological basis for mental illness."
They promoted terms like "treatable brain disorder", "no-fault brain disease" and "chemical imbalace" setting off a new wave of psychiatric drugs sales internationally, which by 2005 had reached $76 billion annually.(!)
The whole Prozac ... serotonin inhibitor drug market, Ritalin for kids etc, is based on this. These drugs now have black box warnings due to the serious side effects they produce, like suicidal and homicidal tendencies, psychosis, aggression and health risks like addiction ,strokes, heart attacks and death.
This is not a cure , this is very destructive fraud with billions of dollars involved.
This is what Scientologists strongly object to and why they established the Citizens Commission on Human Rights in 1969, to investigate and expose psychiatric violations of human rights and clean up the field of mental healing.
Scientology does not treat physical or mental health problems.There is no conflict of interest here.
It's not about belief it's about human rights and blatent abuse and harm in the name of mental health.

GOD created us in his own image. But, due to Free Will we all have our individual traits. There is no chemical imbalance.

And, anyone says that there is chemical imbalance between lesbians and gays. They are GOD'S creation and have every right to enter the Gates of Heaven.

This report admits that there no proven connection with a mental illness and a physical condition. In page 1 paragraph 4 it states "Ultimately, no gross anatomical lesion such as a tumor may ever be found; rather mental disorders will likely be proven to represent disorders of intercellular communication".
Fact: The theory of Chemical Unbalance is just a theory and has not been proven.

What is a mental disease?
A mental disease is not a pathological condition; a mental disease is a label for a socially unacceptable behavior. Depending on the culture some behavior may be considered a mental disease and some don’t. It is a fact that the American culture is not as emotive, quick to anger and affectionate as many other cultures. So the normal behavior of people of other cultures could be considered a mental disorder in the USA. A mental disease is not a real disease; it is just a label for a socially unacceptable behavior.

For example: If Winnie-the-Pooh and gang would ever go to a Psychiatrist; Eeyore would be labeled with having a clinical depression, Rabbit would be labeled as being Hypochondriactic, Piglet would be labeled as having an Anxiety disorder, Tigger would be labeled as having a hyperactivity disorder and Winnie-the-Pooh would be labeled with having an Attention-deficit disorder.

It is my personal opinion that the labeling of behaviors is in fact an antisocial behavior that stems from the inability to accept other people behaviors. People that do this labeling are obsessed with being normal and terrified of being considered crazy, so they point the finger at others and accused them of being crazy.

Oppositional Defiance Disorder: characterized by disobedient, hostile, and defiant behavior toward authority figures beyond the bounds of normal childhood behavior.
Social anxiety disorder: intense fear of being negatively evaluated by others or of being publicly embarrassed.
Premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD) is a severe form of premenstrual syndrome.

What is the source of socially unacceptable behavior (mental diseases)?
A great man named Sigmund Freud discovered that socially unacceptable behaviors were directly traceable to psychic trauma in earlier life or undischarged emotional energy
Sigmund Freud developed a technique called free association, which would allow emotionally charged material that the individual had repressed in the unconscious to emerge to conscious recognition. His techniques were highly successful but were condemned by the Psychiatric community. Freud and a couple other dissidents broke away from Psychiatry and established International Psychoanalytical Association. So Psychology was born in protest of Psychiatry.

What is the difference between Psychology and Psychiatry?

Who is right?

Psychology has been moderately successful in curing patients.

It is a fact that the decline of moral in the US came at par with introduction of Psychiatric ideology into society paid by the government.
Psychiatry destroys the patients self esteem by telling them that they are not in control over their actions but their brains are. Nothing is worse than believing that you are in control of your life.
Psychiatry teaches that mental illness is genetical, it connotates that some races are genetically superior to others.
Fact: German Psychiatrist told Nazi Germany that the racial superiority or the German race was a Scientific fact. It was this ideology that created the holocaust.
Fact: During the holocaust Psychiatrist conducted human experimentation on prisoners on German concentration camps.
Fact: The U. S. State Department granted former concentration camp supervisor Otto Ambros permission to enter the U.S. for a visit to consult with American pharmaceutical companies.
Fact: Minority children in the U.S. are 11 times more likely to be on [stimulant] medication than is the general student body.
Psychiatric drugs are the ultimate scam. They are a fake treatment for fake diseases. The best part is that because these fake diseases are uncurable the pharmacetical companies have a perfect profit making machine. The Psychiatrist that prescribes this medication gets a kick back from the pharmacetical companies so everyone is happy. Who cares if the patient dies?
P.S. Hormone imbalances are a Scientific Fact that can be proven with pathologic testing. Chemical imbalance are not.
Is not only Scientologist that believe that Psychiatry is crap many Medical Doctors and even Psychiatrist are exposing Psychiatry as a scam.
