For me(18) and my sister(20) on Spring break. We do not want to be surrounded by crazy partiers, we want to relax on the beach with a buget of 500$ per person or less. We live in Iowa, but will probably be flying out of minneapolis, MN and our spring break is from March 12-16!

I agree with Key West! I grew up in San Diego, and yeah next month it'll probably be too cold to go. But that doesn't stop the locals!

But yeah I just went to Key West and it's warm like all year round. Plus it's not that expensive to go. It's great and chilled out, not a mad rush of people. Things run pretty mellow there.

I'd go and take a ferry to the Dry Tortugas. That place was awesome!!! It's a fort 70 miles off the coast of Key West. The ferry takes about 2 hours to get to it, but it's sooooo worth it. Nothing but a fort and ocean all around you. It's like a different world once you get there.

Have fun!!!

You should go to Aruba. It's quieter than the Bahamas, and it's amazing. Besides the beaches (which are spectacular), there are so many other things to do! Rent a small jeep or 4x4 and drive around the island. You can do it in a day or less. There are things like the land bridge and the ostrich farm (it's amazing!). My favorite restaurants there were Madame Jeanette's and El Gaucho. There are many flights there, so it's not that hard to get there. I took Delta and from LGA (I live in New York City), it's around 2.5 hours nonstop. It's not too expensive, either, if you pay to fly (when my family went, we just used SkyMiles). It's my favorite island in the Caribbean, and you should definitely go there.

A short carribean cruise is cheap and fun. There are all kinds of deals right now, so you can easily find what you are looking for within the $500 range (probably even including the flight to the port). Good luck.
