Do you tip the people who cut your hair at cost cutters if you only get a haircut about 3 times a year and dont have one set person to cut your hair everytime?

I dont think I should have to why should I pay your wage, tell your cheap A$$ boss to pay you more. If they make $5 off of my cut (based on commission) they are still making a decent wage since it only takes 15 min to cut my hair.

if you like how they did your hair you should tip them as a thankyou. even if you dont have a set stylist. i always tip depending on how much i like the cut. but if the cut was only say 15$ or so in some really cheap places i'd tip like 2-5 dollars. because you dont want to go overboard.

absolutely!! these people live off of tips. some (or most) of the cheap haircut places only give a base pay-no commission!! Y wouldn't you want to tip them? You tip your waiter or waitress right? well they provided you with a service-if it's a cheap haircut you don't have to leave anything ridiculous...I think for like a $12 haircut I would be happy with like $3-4. that's not asking too much. they don't make much money to begin with, y not help them out. are you lacking money? even so, I would feel that if I stiffed my hairstylist then it would come back to me....please tip : )

Yes, you should tip every hairstylist you see. 15%-20% is a good rule of thumb unless you aren't satisfied with your cut. Also, maybe you could spend a little more to get a really good cut at an indepentantly owned salon to get a better cut.

YES. We make a small base pay of minimum wage or nothing at all, and live off of tips. Cost cutters is comission only so that means they only make tips plus 40 percent of services. If your cut is 12 dollars she is making like 5 bucks off you!!!! Please tip!!!!!!

I went to a place corresponding to that (great clips). enable me say that their high quality fits their cost. it extremely is totally low-cost. as quickly as I have been given my hair decrease at great clips the stylist decrease one section shorter than the different and entirely tousled my bangs! Now i bypass to Azza, a expert salon. it is your decision, yet i don't think of the "10 greenbacks for a decrease" salons are very stable.
