she might need a trim. you'd be surprised how much easier it is to brush even when you only get like an inch cut off. but what do i know, just let her hair dread, its easiest, kinda.

It's not lack of combing, some hair is just that way. As other people here said, make sure she uses a good conditioner. My hair gets easily tangled too, i have been usind vo5 detangle! & shine, leave in conditioner, and it has worked great. My hair tangles a LOT less. I got it at the local target. Hope this helps!

Hair gets tangled fairly easily if it's curly, thick, or frizzy. She could comb it more often. She could comb it, then braid it, at night before bed... and again right out of the shower. (Or better, in the shower, too!)
As far untangling goes, you could put a little mayo or conditioner on the knot while untangling and it goes a lot faster. They even make a spray for it!
Try to find her two types of shampoo that are made for her style of hair. (They should say on the bottle). Then, use one for a month, the next for the next month, and so on. The rotating helps your hair get stronger... which makes it less tangly. :)

She is not being afraid please trust me on the is am not at all trying to be rude! You are the boss that is right and she does not care one bit! She needs to see that you are in fact the boss. When she wants to go outside tell her that once she comes in that she has to take a bath to get all the dirty's off and if you don't take a bath then you won't be going out again tomorrow! Brushing the hair! Now when she got her hair cut did she throw a fit? Doesn't seem that way since it is cut! Don't you see a pattern with this? She is doing this for attention. She knows that you are just going to throw your hand in that air and say forget it! You HAVE to show her that you are the boss here and you mean business. Try letting her brush her hair or wash herself that helps giving some independence kids love that. Good luck and with time she will get over this little stage.

There are a variety of spray in conditioners and de-tanglers that you spray on right after a shower and as you're combing it... also make sure she combs her hair while it's wet. If you wait until its dry it's to late! If this is a persistent problem, make sure she's using a regular rinse out conditioner regularly as well.
=0) Good luck!

johnson and johnson makes a no more tangles spray, use after shanpooing, spray on and comb through. however the product is sometimes hard to find. if her hair is long, i would definetly suggest a cream rinse/conditioner. vo 5 makes ine thats not real heavt on the hair or your wallet!
