So I have read about amillion things about getting room safe for many animals, but never once have I seen bird proofing for a room. SO I got a heater for my room finally so its warm enough to move the bird in there where he will get more attention. So im gonna be letting him out(with his wings clipped) How would I go about bird proofing my room? I dont want him going behind things and getting electricuted. Also im afriad that even though I have a top on my aquarium, that there is still enough room for him to get through.
so this brings up a few more questions
What do I do if he does manage to get himself behind my entertainment center or something and I cant get to him, how do I get him out?
Also how can make my room fum for him

Hi there. Use your good judgement. Since the aquarium is off the ground and the bird's wings are clipped, there would be no problem. If the bird runs behind something, he will get hungry and come out to eat and drink. How about a bird playpen? Rotate his toys. make foraging toys like food in wax paper with twisted ends, pine cones stuffed with treats. Be sure to give him a good pellet food, fruits and veggies and limit seeds to 10%. I think you may benefit having a hand raised tamed bird. Have a tweet year.

It all depends how acctive the bird is and if you plan to leave him out a lot. If you plant to let him roam the house then you neeed to be very very carefull. if he will only be in his room, make sure there is nothing dangouras he can land on. or get a hold of. They will explor anything you can think of.

well the room is never bird proof with furniture in it but if you have to push your furniture as close to the wall as you can. but for making it fun for him put toys out on the walls and perches on the wall too. mak sure the birfis not harmed in your room but i would not let the bird out all the time because they can get too used to being out of the cage alot and may refuse too go in the cage so.
