1) Yes I believe in God alone, no partners, sons, daughters etc..
2) Yes I am Muslim
3) Yes my parents are Muslim
4) Yes, I learned religion at a young age
5) Well being born in America, I didn't know much about my religion until I started studying it myself after highschool, since I had gotten involved with the wrong crowds, living the HIGH life. I wanted to get back on the straight path.
6) No, but the truth is that the best Muslims I have seen are converts, because they do not take it for granted and study it in detail.
7) Yes I believe in both, will be requited for what we used to do
8) This is very simple, those who are not following Islam properly have been sent astray by God's will. I do not treat people differently, because I am not the one to Judge for God knows all of their deeds. I try to stick to what my kindergarten teacher taught me "Treat people how you want to be treated"
[006:125] And whomsoever God wills to guide, He opens his breast to Islâm; and whomsoever He wills to send astray, He makes his breast closed and constricted, as if he is climbing up to the sky. Thus God puts the wrath on those who believe not.
[006:126] And this is the path of your Lord (the Qur'ân and Islâm) leading straight. We have detailed Our Revelations for a people who take heed.
[006:127] For them will be the home of peace (Paradise) with their Lord. And He will be their Walî (Helper and Protector) because of what they used to do.
Peace Be With You

3) are/were your parents believers? Yes.
4) did they raise you in any belief? No.
5) how did you come to believe in what you believe in now? No empirical evidence for the existence of God; that religious bigots would rather use faith than hard evidence, a love of science, education, and scientific skepticism of all things attributed to religious ideology.
6) are you a convert? No.
7) do you believe in heaven and/or hell? No.
and finally....
8) whats your position on other religions? They're all as bad as one another. Our species would be better off without religion.

3.) Yes, but when they found their religion, it wasn't the same as the one that I practiced.
4.) Yes, they taught me their religion but they didn't force me to take part in their rituals since I didn't believe in it. I only needed to be respectful of them and learn about their religion.
5.) I worshiped my deities either alone or with general pagans until I found others who worshiped the same deities and had a similar worldview.
6.) No, I was a neo-pagan when I was a child. But I didn't follow the specific neo-pagan path that I now follow. The specific neo-pagan path that I follow didn't exist when I was growing up.
7.) No. These concepts are not found in my theology.
8.) I think they can be rewarding to those who believe in them and follow them.
Out of curiosity....what will you do with the results? Will you tally the answers? Are you doing a report? Just wondering.

2. Gnostic Christianity
3. Yes
4. Yes
5. By living life, and a deep inner knowing in my soul
6. No
7. I believe in "Heaven", but I refer to it as "The Other Side".
The word Heaven just sounds too much like fantasy, when to
me it's a reality. I believe the only "Hell" is right here on earth.
We come here to learn and perfect our souls for God, then go
home to the other side.
8. I believe people should worship God in the way they see fit, as
long as it brings no harm to others, and as long as they don't
judge other people's religions.
