The two primary sources for Federal government spending are the General Accounting Office (GAO) and the Congressional Budget Office. Be aware that the Federal Government collects many taxes in addition to income taxes, such as FICA, Medicare, Federal Unemployment, Tarriffs, etc. Also, many dollars are provided to the States, and the final spending numbers for them are available from their respective State offices.

Also, be aware that the Congressional budget operates in a seven-year window, not a single year as many people are used to.
