I broke up with my bf for this other guy. I was talking on the phone with my friend and i asked her to ask him if he likes me and he said no and i told her to tell him that hes a liar and yesterday he told me that he liked me alot. the next day online i asked him if he likes me and hes like yeah and i was like why did you tell my friend that you didnt and he said cause he doesnt want my x bf to find out. Is he lieing???

It's Possible But Does Not Necessarily Mean That He Is. Why Would He Tell Your Friend That He Doesn't Like You? SHE'S YOUR FRIEND! Of Course She's Gonna Tell You That He Said That. So, Yea...It's Kinda Hard To See If He's Lying Or Not.

OK, first off, you never breakup with someone for someone else (it means you're a shallow person), especially if you don't really know if the other guy likes you and can't find out for yourself first hand. You reap what you sew. "Should I believe him?" isn't the question here... its should he trust you? All I can say is that you are on a path, obviously at the beginning, to a very empty place. When you look back in 10 years and wonder why you dated so many jerks, the answers right here.

I thought you r x bf was that guy? HMMMMMMMMM. let me read it again. okay, i still don't really get it but here is what i think that i think:He is not a lier. I think he really likes you, but maybe he doesn't really like the other guy you were talking about. and just like someone else said on here, you should be able to talk to him and ask him if he really does like you, IN PERSON! He probably doesn't want to get beat up, which would mean he's a wimp and you don't want him around anyway cuz a girl needs a real man. Or he's just full of crap and really doesn't like you but he knows you really like him and therefore wants you only for the funking.

He has Lied now Be it to you or your friend, SO at this point I would be apt to not belive a word he says.
You were also kinda wrong to break up with guy for another, But at least you didn't cheat on him

sounds suspicious. it really depends on the guy. It does sound like hes trying to hide something maybe to hit on your friend or something. but is he close to your x boyfriend. 4 years ago when my current fiance liked me he wouldnt tell me b/c my ex was his best friend
