what kind of questions do they ask you and what is the format? I have to go in tomorrow to do that. It's my first time and I want to be prepared!

Basically, you appear before the judge, tell him/her why you're contesting the ticket. Bring the citation, any photos or other evidence.

Be polite, don't talk a lot or get angry (you'll be nervous, so concentrate on slowing down and being clear).

And if the judge doesn't dismiss it, remember you're no worse off than if you hadn't shown up, so just accept it.

I'll bet that if you call the court they would be delighted to tell you the answer to that question.

what city did you get a ticket? in some cities you will
NEVER SEE A JUDGE -
do you want to fight the ticket?
or what?
