You can get soy based hot dogs (smart dogs, tofu pups, even bratwurst by Turtle Island)
As for "normal hotdogs" (from the source below)
Contents can also be questionable, with cheaper types of hot dogs having been known to contain snouts, ears, and blended organs.

a Vegan hot dog is called a carrot. Eat the beef! Try Kosher dogs, like Hebrew National, Nathan's Kosher, Sinai. They're all pretty tasty.

Every answer on this page is dead wrong! Hot dogs are made with the least desirable meat scraps on the planet! Were talking about fish lips, cow azzholes, chicken penuzzes, pig tails, etc. all ground into a paste and cooked in an edible trojan condom to perfection, Mmmmm! Just slather in K.Y. Jelly and enjoy!

If a rat was to fall into the meat grinder, they are not going to stop the machine and through everything out. I don't eat Hot dogs either. =P Not only do they have unknown animal parts, but they also taste gross. So does bologna.

You don't really want to know what they are made out of because I've heard that they are made from leftover meat, which includes all the parts you probably don't w ant to eat. I know they make chicken hot dogs, but I don't know about turkey or other kinds.
