beauty is in the eye of the beholder

It is said that "Beauty is in the eyes of a beholder". And I think this rings true in this case. There are differences of opinions to different things by different people, so it is for attractivness. People may have found one quality or the other in an individual that they like and so are attracted to that person, while you are looking from a different perspective you may not see it or notice it. But it is there in all of us.

Perhaps you are being too choosey and you are not looking for the nice things in a person. That can also amount to selfishness in a way . You think about yourself alone.
