Hopefully, there are no rough edges on it and it digests smoothly! Your friend should go see his doctor about this. There are several reasons that I can think of. The one that I would be most concerned about is , to have an xray taken to see where it is located. If it gets hung up along the way you can beleive that there will be complications that will not be enjoyable!!!! There is also the possibility that it can cut or slice the intestional walls trying to move through the colon. Then there is the possibility of metal poisioning. Your friend really should go see the doctor about this. I would also suggest your friend to get some good quality olive oil, and start drinking about 2or3 tblsps. each day to help smooth things along. Good luck , hope this helped.

Just wait for it to pass 36-48 hours should do it. Occasionally items like this might get stuck. If either symptoms develop or it does not pass in a few days seek medical advice.

how old are they? how big is the ring? if they are over say one hundred pounds, odds are it will, uh come out the other end in a few days or so. if this friend has no trouble breathing, is not drooling excessively, then they should be okay. if there seems to be any issue with breathing or eating, they should go to their nearest ER.

Get them to the ER. Do NOT induce vomiting.

If it was diamond there is a chance it could cut up the stomach and duodenum.

There is also a chance it will pass along and come out in the stools.

Tell them to watch for it when it comes out the other end. It will need cleaning though. Yuk!
