Yep I get more than nervous I fall apart but this is quite normal and unfortunately does not improve with more surgery. You should ask your doctor as there may be medication you can take to calm you down. Just before they do give you an injection which is calming so that you feel quite floaty but you need to ask or request the procedure if it is not standard. It also may depend on the type of surgery you are having so good luck but find out your options by asking

Of course people get nervous.

Doctors are going to operate on you.

It is natural to feel nervous. A day before, just calm yourself using yoga and relax yourself thouroughly. The surgery will be over before you know it.
