Are there any particular herbs, seeds or berries that can enhance the performance of my voodoo dolls? I will use meat if I have to, but I would need to know if it should be cooked or not ...

As a power booster I tend to use cinnamon or amber resin in my herbal mixtures. You can mix those with the others herbs/ oils you will be using for your intent. You can also try using a fabric poppet and adding personal items from the person the poppet is intended for. Or filling the whole thing with your herbal mixture and anointing it with cinnamon oil. Hope this give you a couple of ideas.

I think you should use essential oils such as lavender or rosemary.
Also, I think that you should make your voodoo dolls in very basic shapes, without details -- coffee-can shaped, for example.
