Yes, I DO remember! Ooooh! Sherbet lemons, rhubarb and custard, fruit pips, those were my favourites. Our sweet shop used to let us buy 2oz of sweets 'cos we didn't have a lot of money!

Strawberry Bon Bons!! The best ever..
Them, midget gems, aniseed balls and cherry lips rocked. And cola pips, Kola Kubes, Soor Plooms.. far too many to choose.
Once nicked some cash off my older brother and asked for "4 Quarters" of Scented Satins!! Didn't know that was a pound, and a helluva lot of sweets! Ah, them were the days..
I remember we used to get from the local ice cream van some sort of striped humbug but blue and white. The most amazing sweet ever but never found them again. The hunt is on.

Ooooo Millions!! But they pull your teeth out when you shove too many in at once...!! or Floral Gums ~ like minature wine gums but hard, and very perfumed... or Winter Mixture. Everton Mints mmmm! all stripey! What a treat to go to the old fashioned sweet shop with your mum on a saturday morning...all those jars, I always chose something that went really sticky in the bottom of the small white paper bag! My mate tash still gets me a quarter of millions after a trip to her dentists! the shop is opposite... ironic eh?

Gosh, i did not see this question the day earlier at present yet I could say that if a Christian is customary via his end result then i don't see how Mr. Obama could probably be a Christian. So the only situation i can discern is, he had to do something to settle down all of his supporters who did not like Rick Warren being a factor of the inauguration. i think of Rick Warren is merely being utilized via him, too, yet i'm hoping he has the braveness to desire in Jesus' call like Franklin Graham did (whilst Mr. Bush replace into sworn in the final time). He replace into mind-blowing. God bless!

Ooh yes I loved aniseed balls. I'm going to google search for them later...there must be some place that still makes them. They were lovely. And also pear drops (that smelled like nail varnish remover) and parma violets (that tasted like soap)
