Yes, it's just a half-assed copy of Mac OS X Tiger with more Microsoft eye candy. Microsoft has mimicked Apple since the introduction of the Macintosh back in 1984, starting with Windows 1.0. If you don't believe me, do a Google image search on Macintosh System 1 and Microsoft Windows 1.0. You'll see that Microsoft blatantly copied features of the Macintosh. It will continue to go on as long as there are people who don't realize that these "features" that they're "upgrading" to in new Windows versions are nothing more than bad copies of Mac OS. I was a PC user for a long time, so I know.

Yes it is. Microsoft had been copying Apple since Windows 3.1 version of their oprating system. The lack of originality I assume comes from the fact that they have a lazy software developers who are relying on a big market-share Microsoft hold so they dont bother too much to develop an original and the quality product. Sysytem is "Copy what you can and release it ASAP to get the money". But things are about to change as more and more individuals and the companies are switching from Microsoft platforms to either Linux or Mac OS X.

Vista is a mutant offspring of many OSs, and Mac OSX is one of them. Vista also rips off the file search concept from Google Desktop, as well as the security features of all the antivirus and network security companies that Microsoft bought out and put out of business.
