This is the one I make and am making today for the game. It's really yummy......serve with tortilla chips or sliced french or sourdough bread....mmmmmm
INGREDIENTS
1 (8 ounce) package processed American cheese, cubed
1 (8 ounce) package mild Cheddar cheese, cubed
1 (7 ounce) can mild, chunky salsa
3/4 (15 ounce) can chili
1 (8 ounce) container sour cream
1 teaspoon chili powder
1 dash hot pepper sauce
DIRECTIONS
In a medium saucepan over low heat, melt the processed American cheese and Cheddar cheese.
When cheeses are melted and thoroughly blended, mix in salsa, chili, sour cream, chili powder and hot pepper sauce. Cook and stir 10 to 15 minutes before serving warm.

Chili con Queso Dip
Ingredients:
1/2 cup chopped onion
1 cup chopped green bell pepper
3 tablespoons butter
1 can diced tomatoes (about 15 ounces)
1 teaspoon chili powder
8 ounces shredded Cheddar cheese or American cheese
Preparation:
Sauté onion and green peppers in butter until tender. Add tomatoes and chili powder. Simmer for 10 minutes; add cheese. Continue cooking over low heat until cheese is melted. Keep chili con queso warm in chafing dish or crockpot.
Serve chili con queso dip with taco chips or corn chips.

In a crockpot, take 2 cans of your favorite chili....Over that, layer 2 blocks of Velveeta mild mexican cut into cubes. Add 1 can Rotel chili & tomatos & about a tablespoon of salsa or taco sauce. Simmer over low til melted stirring once or twice.....Serve with your favorite chips and toppings....Yummy!!

equal amounts of Velveeta and canned chili (without beans). Melt together & enjoy!

Veletta is always a great place to start. If you make their recipe that's good but if you add hamburger, sausage, or chorizo meat to makes it GREAT!!!!!!! Put it all in a crock pot and let it melt and you will have a great dip! Enjoy.
