Why do very religious people think that Atheists are going to hell for not putting "their faith in Christ." Isn't he supossed to love us equally regardless of that or something like it.

I'm Atheist, and know many people that think that I am going to hell for not believing what they do.
What about budhist, or muslims?
There would be a lot of people in hell for not being christian.

Here's another question.
How do justify the Holocaust, genocides, murder, (The list goes on.....)?

Okay. Let me redo this. How do you think that GOD let the Holocaust happen. Why did he let is happen?
Isn't it supossed to be that everyone is equal in God's eyes.

The Almighty YHVH created this world very good. Once man sinned, he could no longer meet the requirements of YHVH. Because of His great love for man, He send His son the Savior. The Savior's name means YHVH is my Savior!--YAHOSHUA! The only way one can have his sins taken care of is to invite the Savior in to carry them. If a person chooses to remain attached to their sins, they will be consumed in the cleansing fire the Almighty will send to cleanse this world so He can make it new! How could the Almighty be more generous?

Supposed to? God doesn't have to love anyone but He loves everyone because He is love. People going to hell is a result of their choices, not God's. The ONLY thing that can redeem man from hell, and death, and sin (living independently of God), is blood because life is in the blood. That life/blood has to be pure and sinless and it has to be worth the entire race of mankind in order to be able to redeem all of those who put their faith in the one sacrificed. Therefore since Jesus was the only being that is both man and God and He was the only one without sin, it's ONLY His blood that will work. That's the ONLY acceptable payment in God's eyes for our redemption. He is the perfect lamb that was slain. God sets the acceptable price, not us.

And by the way,He doesn't want anyone to go to hell. That's why He sent His son because He loved the world. (Jn 3:16). When those who have rejected Christ are sent to hell after the final judgment, I'm sure He'll have tears in His eyes!!!

Holocaust? The Bible says that some will be martyered-sp? for their belief. It's a delicate balance of allowing people their free-will. Those who participated in the Holocaust were given a time & season, and the Lord judged them accordingly. The people that died during the Holocaust or survived did have supernatural strength to go through what they went through if they were relying on the Lord. He doesn't promise to always deliver us from certain things but He does promise us strength to go through what He has allowed for reasons known to Him. It's not only the people that are suffering that He is focusing on, it's the ones that are causing it, too. Again, reasons known to Him.

Because His Word says that if you deny Him, He will deny you. That was Lucifer's problem. You know, Satan? He wouldn't humble himself under the Lord. Lucifier, aka Satan, rose up against God (convinced a third of the angels to join him) & waged the spiritual war that is at work today. God is making a people for Himself. A people who acknowledge He is God & humble themselves before Him. He is God & He deserves the respect & reverence for being Creator of all. Which He will forever have, because those who enter Heaven have been tested through.
I don't want anyone to go to Hell, nor does God.
2 Peter 3:8-9 But, beloved, do not forget this one thing, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.

Again, it's semantics. If they said you are going to Hell, what they meant is a certain act or belief could cause someone to be in danger of Hell's fires lest they repent. Some people may get exasperated & say, "Go to H-E- double L," & that's not the same as U are going to go. Only God knows that. A person could turn in their last hour & be saved. Some Christians may stumble & say ungodly things. But remember the Word also says: woe to any of you who cause any of these little ones who love me to sin. (Little ones is a term of endearment. While He is talking about them being caused to sin, He is speaking lovingly about them.) Same with Honor your Mother & your Father. After that verse He says, and parents do not exasperate your children... Also, talking about respecting your elders. It's also a two-way street. They should show respect, love, & caring to the younger ones. Wives submit to your husbands. Next verse it says Husbands treat your wives like the Church. Therefore, they should be treating their wives respectfully which makes it easier to be submitful to. See? It's a two-way street.....

"Let the reader understand" is found in the Bible many times, also. ~And by the Holy Spirit, He will help with that.

As a Christian, I honestly don't care what you believe or what happens to you when you die. If I was talking to you, and we happened to get on the subject of God, I would discuss my beliefs with you, but I would also listen to yours and respect them. In regards to non-Christians' prospects of eternal-life I feel that is between them and God, and it is not my position to interfere in that relationship. You are free to believe in God, it is your choice, and I won't say you are going to Hell if you don't(although I may think it...lol). As far as your question regarding the Holocaust, genocides, etc.. I am guessing you want to know how supposedly good Christians can perpetrate such crimes. My answer is that Christians are people just like Atheists; Christians commit sins just like everyone else. And actually, in proportion to their population in society, Atheists have been responsible for many, many deaths... Stalin, Mao Zedong, and Pol Pot come to mind. All people (regardless of religion) are capable of horrible crimes against others.

If you're an atheist, then why are you worried about going to hell? I thought you didn't believe in hell either.

As for the second question, murders, wars, etc. happen because of the wrong choices people make. God doesn't prevent violence because then we wouldn't have free will.

You have an excellent point. The bible and the teachings of Christs are often misunderstood. Jesus asked God to forgive his executioners because they didn't understand what they were doing. So why should atheists or whoever be damned because of there religious views? What about all of the people living in the Western hemisphere prior to the birth of Jesus? If they were good, caring people do they still go to hell?

The Holocaust was caused by one mans hell bent desire to eradicate the world of Jewish People. it was furthered by the worlds refusal for many years to believe this was happening.
As far as your statements about Christ;
For god so loved the world that He sent His only begotten Son, that you so ever believed in Him might not perish but have everlasting life.
Simply put Jesus Christ is the only way to GOD.

Every Christian on this earth knows that there is only one true and living God. He is in Heaven right now and we believe in him because we know what is written in his word. He clearly stated in his own word which is the Holy Bible that he is in Heaven and he sent his only begotten son to this earth in Human Form to try and get this world to realize there is a Heaven and a Hell. He sent his son Jesus Christ to die for the sins of the world so that whoever believeth in him shall believe that there is a afterlife. We believe it cause it was clearly given as a guide for the weary and restless. For us that knows that God is real. He said that we all will stand before him in Judgment and whoever's name is not found in The Book of Life will be cast into the Lake of Fire. We believe it cause he said it would come to pass. We believe it cause we know that there is a God and there is a Heaven and Hell and we will be with God and Jesus in Heaven while all the non-believers or others who have these false gods like Muslims will be cast into that Lake Of Fire for their lack of not believing what is clearly there for us. The Love of God and the blood on the Cross of Calvary of Jesus Christ. We believe cause we choose to believe in him and we know what is right and what is wrong. I will pray for you to open your eyes and you will see God in all his love and all his Glory.

A man rejects God neither because of intellectual demsnands nor because of the scarcity of evidence. A man rejects God because of a moral resistance that refuses to admit his need for God.
