*giggle* I love Dawkins. He's so funny... and so freaking smart.

But... I like Godzilla more.

Yes, I also worship the Flying Spaghetti Monster by cooking and eating pasta. Once I have accepted Him, I feel Him in my stomach and I an saved, from hunger at least. I then pick up one of Richard Dawkins book and read with delight.

Haha!
That's great. And really, it's a good point - if Dawkins *is* wrong, then creationists have nothing to lose by reading his books - they'll just reject him on a logical basis, right?
But actually, I'm a follower of His Holiness the Dalai S.J. Gould.
(Some of Dawkins' ideas about the gene as the principal unit of selection I find flawed, even though of course his work overall is excellent).

Carl Sagan>Richard Dawkins Dawkins is an stunning biologist and relatively everyone could "the egocentric gene", "the blind watchmaker" and his different books on biology yet "the god fantasy" is extraordinarily lame, in case you're seek for a e book advocating technology and serious questioning study:The demon haunted international via Sagan.

What do I have to lose? A few bucks, if I pay for his books. Nothing material, if I let the local library shell out the bucks.

Not all atheists are so enthralled by New Atheism. The part about taking kids away from parents who teach their kids about religion gave a few of the more freedom-loving atheists pause. Frankly, I'm more impressed by THAT kind of atheist.

LOL...

I see where you are going with the Christian baiting, but I don't think Richard Dawkins would actually approve.

I too respect and admire his writing, both on evolution and religion. He would be the first to say that it is the ideas and critical thinking he promotes, not the one who promotes them that is important.

Dawkins is being crucified by critics for the sins of the unbelieving world. He has payed the penalty for my unbelief.

Yes, I will be your witness to the love of Dawkins. Let us all follow his word, and the example of his prophet Carl Sagan.
