The guy should be the asker. The reason is because if you ask the guy out then it will be hard to find out if he is really into you. He may just say yes because he doesn't want to hurt your feelings or doesn't like confrontation. Guys will hide their feelings and stay in a relationship they dont want to be in, just because they don't want you to yell at them.

A girl CAN ask a guy on a date, BUT i personally hate girls who do that kinda thing. I think boys should:
1. Ask a girl out
2. Ask a girl to be his girlfriend
3. Call the girl (dont make the girl call him)
and anything elese like that! I know a million girls that ask out guys, and i dont like them much.

sometimes it is better becasue the guy might be to shy to ask the girl out and it really helps becasue if the guy is shy then if the girl doesnt make a move then the relationship doesnt even have a chance at starting.

you can ask me on a date any time? I promise I will not be offended. Men are like women they are flattered to be asked out.
I may not like you after seeing you, because of your hair but in 20 years what would it matter we had fun trying. You cannot succeed if you never try.
Personally I would like you more because you had the confident to ask

these days it goes both ways.
tradtionalist - guy asks you
originalist - not afriad to ask guy your self
neither are right or wrong. usually i wait for ag uy to ask me! or drop hints and then we go out with friends. but both are fine! guys like when girls ask them because it takes the pressure off of them!

Sure why not ! its not like girls arn't allowed to. most people just think that guys usually ask girls out instead of the other way around.
