is beauty a subjective thing or an objective thing because everytime i think someone is unatractive someone else thinks there hot

Beauty is and always will be in the eye of the beholder.
Case in point....to your first answer
Jessica Alba = not
Angelina Jolie = hot
Of course, I prefer guys....

Its all a matter of preferences. You could like something & as you said someone else might not.

Sometimes this is influenced by our surroundings and how we were raised.

& I have also noticed this... the only thing you can do is ignore it

I you like someone or you dont, there will always be someone who doesnt agree.

you know...you pose an excellent question..and i must say that it's totally subjective....it all depends on the individual but i would hope that beauty is evaluated from within...and not from the outer shell that most people see as you walk by....in all senserity.... i think most people who are incredibly hot on the outside are quite lackluster on the inside...but thats just my opinion....
