How do you make the screen/ net found in the windows safe for cockatiels?

I am talking about the net which is used to prevent bugs/insects and other stuff from coming into the house. How can I make it for my cockatiels?

Hi there there are many different screens available today. Research what they are made of. Personally, I would stick to stainless steel mesh which is strong and won't be ingested. It isn't toxic. Have a nice year and don't give up.

Keep them in their cage when the windows are open. Otherwise they will chew through it and escape!
