Last night I ate two hot links covered in BBQ sauce. I had eaten the same brand of both things many times before, but within 10 minutes of eating, I began to have dime-sized hives pop up on the insteps of my feet, my upper arms, and the inside of my thighs! They itched like crazy, and to add to the fun, I got a bad case of diarrhea that lasted from about 1 am to 5:30 am. Not a fun night! Anyone got any ideas what caused this to happen? It'll be a LONG time before I eat either of those two things again!

sounds like you got a bad batch...better off leaving that alone rather than experimenting to find out...could it be you had something else for seasoning, for appitizers, or to drink that could have kicked that off?

obviously a food allergy, to a constituent of the sauce, or the type of spices in the links.

You also might have had food poisoning..
