one of my stupid friend is trying to convince that if cats hair goes inside ur body , it gives you diseases , is that true ?if not what are other problems which u get by swallowing its hair ?

well...i am surprised that you are so worried......cat hairs are actually used for medication in India. Their are not that many cats there so they buy them from UK. The cat hairs are processed into tiny pieces and mixed into brillo pads which are used to clean their pots with. This has a very medicinal affect. For some reason, whatever is cooked in those pans will cure diseases such as the following
atheletes foot
fungal vaginas
diseased nipples
and colic
please do not worry!

ingesting a cat hair will have not have been given any result on being pregnant in any respect. in spite of the incontrovertible fact that-- as quickly as you're pregnant - do no longer sparkling THE muddle container!!! muddle encompasses a micro organism that would make the toddler have some delivery illness issues.

OMG!!! You need to go to the ER right away!!! Don't start to digest the hair, otherwise you'll develope catratitis!!! It will cause your eyes to turn yellow and any facial hair you have will start to develop into wiskers!! HURRY!! They can give you a shot which will reverse the process if you get there within 17 hours after ingesting the hair!!

Probabluy OK, but it would be wise to check if the cat had any transmittable disease. Send the cat to the vet and you talk to GP.

the worst that can happen is u get worms if u eat some with fleas on it other than that nothing will happen except for maybe choking up a fur ball

Your fiend doesn't sound all that smart! I'm a full time vet tech. I have ingested alot of cat hair in my day. Nothing happens to you. You could get a tickle in your throat at most.
