Is the net which windows have to block out flies and other stuff, are they safe for cockatiels or is it harmful? Also, the net is brand new.

I would also consider that your cockatiel might get his nails caught in netting. They love to hang on the side of a cage.

I wouldn't use it to make a cage for them or let them chew on it. Screen/net is usually sharp and could puncture their intestines or crop.
