By default, all hidden files and folders are not shown.
I go to Tools>Folder Options>View>Hidden Files and Folders and check "Show Hidden Files and Folders". However, I still can't manage to see my hidden files/folders. Earlier, I have no problem with this. This happened lately only.
I've tried scanning my pc using anti-virus software, anti-spyware and registry cleaner but still unable to solve this problem. I've even use Windows XP cd to repair my windows but to no solution.
Please help. Thanks.

try this...
export registry entry from healthy computer and then reapply to yours
1- HKCU software microsoft windows currentversion explorer advanced
2- HKLM software microsoft windows currentversion explorer advanced

Try unchecking Hide protected operating system folders as well.
