Family information?

hi, i'm bulding my family tree with all the info, what i need now is when i'm making the database i want get the all possible info like
first name...
so can u tell me as much as u can the info that i can use ex. first name
cell phone
home add
....

Hey Metaferia,

Data that you want will be easily found in Family Tree Software, that is the best course of action. But if you just want to collect information, then be sure to get:
First, Middle, surname, title, DOB, Date of Death, Marriage, to whom, Children's names, DOB (to associate with), Parents Names, Parents Location of Birth, Mothers Maiden Name, Location of Marriage, Location of Birth, Death, other events, Pictures, Certificates, etc.

To add to what has already been said: also collect occupation, especially if they were in the military. You can obtain military records from National Archives, and some documents, like selected Revolutionary War pension papers, are online free at heritagequest, a research site you can get to via you public library.

The other thing that is most important when collecting your family history is to note any degenerative illnesses and causes of death. This family health history can be very important to you family doctor, as it can show a possible genetic link to certain illnesses.
