Ikea-like furniture...inexpensive...can you recommend a store or website?

TARGET!
Target has great inexpensive furniture and they are more prevailent than IKEA's. Although IKEA can sometimes be a little more inexpensive, the quality can be lower too. I would really give Target a chance.

If you want good quality furniture and do not want to pay a LOT of money for it, steer clear of flat-packed MDF veneer junk from Wal-Mart, Target, IKEA and so forth. Go to a second-hand store and choose carefully. Craigslist is also a good place to look, and even eBay. Look for local listings to avoid high delivery charges.
