one of my dear friends is not in my wedding. SHE is doing everything. every time i have a thought or idea i run it past her for approval. she is not evem in my city since she married and moved away but we visit frequently to make plans to ensurte my wedding is perfect. not once has she asked me why she is not in the wedding and i have not offered an explanation. i think being a part of my special day is enuff for her :). she spent this weekend making a keepsake box that i knew nothing of until she sent email pics and even the fh thought it was beautiful and thoughtful. so i just wanted u to know there are some people who subscribe to the planning of the wedding w/o having to be in the actaul nuptials. so put on a happy face and man up as a friend.

If you really are this upset - and I cant imagine being this upset over this - you should ask her what her reasons were. Its really not that big of a thrill to be in a wedding and being maid of honor is alot of work and very annoying. Some people choose the maid of honor based on who lives closer or has the most free time - it really is a big job and one you probably wouldnt even want if you had it!

I agree with the other answer!!!

Kinda rude but still she's right

It's not YOUR wedding so You really don't have the last answer on everything...I say you should get over it and let her do her OWN WEDDING!!!

Sometimes it doesn't manner how long two friends have known each other...It manners how WELL they know each other

So don't give your friend a hard time during this...Just be supported on everything and go to the wedding with a smile on your face...Rather you believe in her plans or not!!!

It's not YOUR wedding, is it??? NO! It's her's, you need to grow up, be a friend (which you're not right now) and realize that the world does NOT revolve around you. If you want to be her friend, then support her, if not, then tell her just how pissed off you are about this, because I can promise you, you tell her this, and she will not consider you a friend anymore.

BTW, Yahoo will let you add what's called "additional details" after your question, so you didn't have to ask another question here......
