I am a middle child as well, I was treated quite unfairly as a child. What has helped me is that my siblings also acknowledged the unfair treatment and we have many discussions about how things were done. I do not hold anything against my siblings as this was done by my parents and they were just children and didn't understand why this was going on. Try to talk to her about it, she may just need to get things out in the open.

I am a middle child. She is an adult out on her own, no older or younger sibling to contend with, just other people in the world. Sometimes being the middle child can be an advantage because you have to be able to work with both sides, older and younger. Makes a person more diverse I think.

I am a middle child, and i have never really had that problem, maybe when i was younger with my little sister being the baby of the family, but I was still always my mother's pet. People always say that being the middle child sucks and you are being ignore and develop sibling rivalry. I have even heard cases where the middle child is the one who is the most likeliest to fail and to suffer in life, but that really isn't true, i think its all in the head.

I'm a middie and an adult. But I have no idea what you mean by middle child syndrome. I've never had a problem being in the middle. Could you add some details to your questions to be more specific?
