What can i do to find out?

when i get home from school and call his name (he's not the best watchdog 24/7 he sleeps) he comes running over and when i'm on a trip or sleepover he won't eat or do anything. does that mean he does love me>?

if he/she comes to u when u call,if he/she wags tail,if he/she licks u or if he/she pays attention to u

Of course he loves you! Although, if he doesn't eat whilst you're gone for more than a day, that's bordering on separation anxiety.

After he's been fed, he comes up to you for a cuddle (in my case difficult when 4 dogs over 40kgs ALL want to sit on your lap at the same time.
One of my dogs, a labrador (no, she's not over 40kg!) likes to come over to me for a cuddle when I'm hoovering - I have to switch it off and kneel down, whilst she buries her head under my armpit!!!

Take him on a walk more often, then go sleep over, and when u come over he will be willing to stick by ur side. Amke sure u give him lots of love, cuz the only way to get love is to give it!!

All dogs are different and usually give their emothions after feedinng off of what the owner feels like. If you are happy to see them then they are happy. There is no way of telling for sure unless she or he bites you...then they must be agressive towards you. Some dogs are loving, protective, shy, etc...just like people. Watch their actions, you can tell.

Well do you feed your dog? Well when you feed him do you tell him to eat? i think he does love you i mean i think he feels sad when your not home that why it doesn't eat maybe! and another way you could tell if dogs love The owner is that its always playing with you its always following you, liking you, jumping on you, etc. and dogs know who loves them or not!

I think that love is kind of an advanced emotion for an animal. Basically all you can hope for is that your dog appears glad to see you, etc.

he prolly loves ya, but dogs are easy, as long as you are fair and calm and show them kindness, they will love ya. You may want to work on getting him a little LESS attached to ya if he won't eat when ur gone!

How does your dog react when you leave or come home? Is he happy to see you? Most dogs just do..:)

When he starts shaking salt on your legs, that's when you know he doesn't love you, but until that happens it's a safe bet that he loves ya!
