Guys or girls, would you work things out for the sake of the child?

I just feel like if you are unhappy with your child's mother or father, then in the end it would hurt the child more than help. Do you feel this way? Wouldn't you want your child to grow up in a happy environment?

If you are unhappy with your partner then the child will see this and have an unhappy childhood. It does the child no good to grow up in a unhappy house, how could this be for him. Lets see divorced happy parents or parents that live together that are miserable and fighting....What makes more sense?
