This guy knows that I like him and have feelings for him. Recently, he told me that he is going to try working things out with his baby's mama but he told me today that there was no way in h*ll he was getting her anything for Valentine's day. Does that mean they aren't together?

He is single because valentines day is for love so obviously he doesnt have love for her anymore.

1. You don't know whether he IS or he isn't getting her something for V day.
2. You don't know what he means by "try working things out".
3. Therefore, ask him directly, don't take guesses. If you guys are going to be in a serious relationship, you have to communicate clearly what you want to know and what you both expect from this.

well its kinda complicated i mean he had a kid with this girl so hes always going to be involved with her in some way if only for the kids sake if hes worth anythng that is.
in away i guess u could say there togather but thy r free to look else where for a relationship. as far as is he single in his mind probly not at least entill he and her work stuff out

possibility that they're not together. but in either case, you should let this guy go. be glad about his honesty, but if he truly wanted something more w/you, he wouldnt let u go as easily as he did knowing that there is a major possiblity that you could get w/someone else. the truth does hurt. dont be used as a back up plan or safety net. good luck.jmo.

Sounds like they may possibly still be together, or there is some hope, a crumb, he is hoping maybe there is still a chance. It does however sound like there is alot of friction. I wouldnt get to excited just yet until you have actual confirmation thats its really over.
