Okay.. I'll give you detail about my health.. 16 years old, average (in terms of health).. very active, i'd say slight malnutrition (oly like one salad a day)... I dont sleep well, Not on my menstrual cycle, no way of being pregnant, get moderate fibre intake, drink a lot of water...

Hi Hannan

The colon. If your colon is bunged up, it can start to cause all sorts of health problems in the body. Eat lots of fruit and veg, include plenty of fiber in your diet and buy a colon cleanse from a health food store or online if necessary. It's also good to get some colonic irrigation. It makes you feel so clean inside and you get the urge to put only good food in your body after you've been cleansed.

1. Drink at least 8 glasses of water, herbal tea or unsweetened juice each day
2. Breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince and dinner like a pauper
3. Eat every two hours, by having healthy snacks in between meals. Eating frequently increases your metabolism.
4. Eat lots of fruit and veg.
5. When having potatoes, rice or pasta, just have a small portion.

1) Eat at least 5 servings of different fruits and vegetables every day. Don't eat any junk/snack type food until you've had at least 5 fruits/vegetables.

2) Stick to whole, unprocessed foods such as whole grains, beans, fruits, vegetables, nuts. As much as you can, try to eat foods that don't have a brand name! So, for example, eat oatmeal (you can buy oats in the bulk bin of most grocery stores) instead of Honey Bunches of Oats.

3) Eliminate partially hydrogenated oil and high-fructose corn syrup completely.

4) Drink a gallon of water instead of soda. If you really want juice, make it a nutritious juice, such as orange juice. Apple and grape juices have very little in the way of nutrients.

5) Minimize animal products, especially fatty ones, as much as possible.

Best of health to you

It sounds like you have Irritated Bowel Syndrome [IBS], which can cause abdominal cramps, constipation, [the gas] and/OR diarrhea. Also, the fact that you eat wayyyyyyyyyyyy too little for your age/activity level may contribute to your problem, and all that salad isn't helping. Eat some real food instead -- meat, veggies, etc. -- but no junk food. At age 16 so few calories is not good for your health. Your body is still growing and changing. It NEEDS calories in order to keep up. Eat more than salad and water, and your symptoms may disappear. If they don't, see a doctor.

Okay, you are not eating enough to stay healthy, and your body is excreting remnants of poor nutrition, which you see is not normal. Normal stool is more solid without fluid, as you said. You are also losing important electrolytes in stool that is full of fluid. You could easily become dehydrated, leaving you exposed to illness and future problems. You need to be educated on proper nutrition and food intake. If you are self-dieting, this is wrong, as you can see by the state of your health. You need to see your doctor ASAP, who will likely run blood work to indicate deficiencies and other problems. He or she will also instruct you on your diet and offer guidelines to follow for proper nutrition. And you must maintain and restore your electrolytes. You may laugh, but the Pedialyte sold for infants with diarreah is often prescribed or recommended, only in larger doses. Do you have a parent or guardian who can assist? If so, accept help. Your body is still growing; you must give it proper nutrition as the foundation to a healthy adulthood, or you'll be setting yourself up for future health problems. You can't continue this way, so get going to get checked out, so that you will be on the way to good health. Don't put this off. Good luck.

I think you have giardiasis. Get your stool tested and take an antiparasitic drug like secnidazole, 2 grams single dose or tinidazole, 2G. single dose or metronidazole 400 G. 3 times a day for 5 to 7 days.

You need to start taking care of yourself. Eat more! Sleep some more! Being pregnant has nothing to do with diarrhea! You should probably go to the doctor. They might be able to tell you exactly what to do.

The main cause of diarrhea is stress.
If you have diarrhea you need to minimize spicy foods and too much vitamin C.
