I am a borderline hypoglycemic that has been under control for a long time. I also have had anxiety issues that also have been under control for a long time. I had a traumatic experience a year ago that really elevated my anxiety and my my blood sugar is all whacked out as well. I can't tell the difference between the anxiety sypmtoms and the blood sugar symptoms. How do I get this under control?

I know that its not easy for you at this time, I hope things balance out for you both mentally and physically.
Here's what I did, walk, walk, walk. Start walkiing for about twenty minutes a day.
Walking is a good thing to do to alleviate stress and it also helps with the sugar related problems.
So get the walking shoes out and go out there and enjoy the sunshine. Walk with a friend if going out alone makes you nervous. And you don't have to stress out about telling the friend why you're walking. Tell your friend to walk you to the store or something if you don't want to discuss the "why?"
Also, check your local newspapers and hospitals to locate a walking group. If there isn't one, then start one with someone.
Also, a pet is a good reason to take a walk. People ask if I'm wallking the dog. I want to tell them, "I'm walking me. The dog is a prop."
Take care of yourself, here's hoping the trauma will lessen over time. And yes, it does take time, be patient with yourself.

Start off by visiting a couple doctors - your general practitioner or whomever is working with you on your borderline hypoglycemia. Ask him or her about things like healthy eating and exercise.

Then also visit a therapist or a counsellor. He or she can help you with not only handling the anxiety, but also with coming up with routines and methods to maintain your weight and diet. If your health insurance doesn't cover the therapist, most cities have a few free or pay-what-you-can clinics. If you are a student, your school will provide free confidential counselling as well.

Practice deep breathing, yoga and/or meditation - any type of activity where you will focus on your breath and reach a calm state of mind.

I typed 'meditation anxiety' and 'yoga anxiety' into the google search bar, and got the links below. I had to sift through a lot of sites trying to sell stuff, but there are links, like the ones below, which give you free and helpful information and how-to guides.
