Call me a hopeless romantic but big shiney gifts are not what my bf can get me that I *love*! I much more enjoy him going getting a couple steaks making a meal of steaks, salad, baked potatoes. Then curling up watching a movie together.
Also, you could make her something? Not sure how crafty you are - but you could make a memory box - go to a scrapbook store get some nice papers, then to the dollar store get a box. In that box would be where she would keep the keepsakes of your relationship in. Very cheap - you could put in 2 tickets to a movie or show and she would keep the stubs in the box.

I agree with Nicole T.......All holidays are too commercial now.....I too am a hopeless romantic.....The card and candy thing is okay but its so typical and meaningless to me.
Be different, if you don't normally cook........cook her a meal (hamburger helper is a great start) or even get your mom to help you plan an inexpensive meal. Instead of that expensive candy, bake her a cake (cost all of $2 to make). compose a poem with the letters in of her first name and read it to her instead of letting the Hallmark company tell her how you feel about her.
Top your evening off by giving her a single Red rose with babies breath in the clear foil........you tell her yourself that you love her and if she is a real woman she will appreciate everything you did for her ..............and the sex she gives you that night will be out of this world........

dude just get her a box of choclets in the chape of a heart and then give her a leter that says how nuch u love her. go to her house when she aint home and cover it with roses.buy her a neckles or a ring. and if u love her alot propose to her buy a ring and ask her to marrie u unless u have been going out for only a week or 2.

write her a letter recalling the feeling you have for her, why u fell in love with her, how you felt when u got together, tell her u love her more than anything and that if you could you would give her more... at least a dinner and some flowers with a letter will make her smile..... for sure!

lol, Man! if you love her then thats all she needs to know! If she is too stuck up too know that, then get it through her head. and also if you want to get her something, get her a single rose, and declare your love for her. Roses are a great symbol for love. You'll do fine, bet you'll have her at sighs at the end of your speech of love to her. lol

last V-day i was short on cast and what i did was
i brought chocolate and a card. one of the thing i wrote was that He is as sweet as the chocolate.
