I agree with lopeslow, most men that ride normally ride western in a pair of jeans and boots, the men i do see that ride English all wear the breeches and tall boots or half chaps. I guess it depends on the area there are a few male riders i do see wear jeans and schooling chaps. I think it is all a preference of what they like. If a man does show english they wont have a choice but to wear breeches and tall boots. I do agree with you more females will wear breeches for everyday riding more than males do.
