thoughs 6 meals a day could it be like fruits also insted of a main meall like for instance sandwich for liker 1st meal then a fruit or are 6 meals like sandwich umm chicken stuff like that?

The idea is to keep you from feeling hungry and over-eating. The bottom line is still calories, if you eat 3 meals that equal 2,000 calories or 6 meals that equal 2,000 calories there is no difference. The same is true with what you eat, 800 calories of protein, or 800 calories of fat you will still lose weight. If you burn more calories than you eat, you will lose weight. If you burn less calories than you eat you will gain.

I think even more is the answer. I graze all day- lots 15+ of small meals. I am 50+ and 112 most days. So it does work. A meal could be a half a sandwich for me, an orange an hour later, a tomato or veggie drink, a bowl of oatmeal, a couple of slices of cheese, etc.

The theory behind it is that the act of eating actually burns calories. so instead of eating 2000 calories in 3 meals, you eat 2000 calories in 6 meals and you will take in less calories because your body burned more in the digestion of the 6 meals. However, you cannot eat any more frequently then every 2.5 to 3 hours because your body is still digesting the previous meals.
This is what a lot of body builders claim helps them along with eating a lot of protien because the theory there is that your body burns more calories burning protien than it does carbs or fat, so many body builders eat 6 meals loaded with protien.

Good grief my day is busy sometimes even forget to have the 3 meals and breakfast is also hard to face ; also one of my major problems is keeping the meals really small so the less often I have to battle this the better so far this year my efforts are working as have lost 2 kg. Unfortunately as one gets older it seems harder to lose that excess and one really does not need to carry it around----leave it in the super market is one of the battle cries !!!!!

as long as you're eating nicely balanced food and have become adequate foodstuff then there is not something incorrect with it. the belief between the 5-6 small food an afternoon is to maintain your blood sugar tiers up so as that your physique does not flow into starvation temper. which will in turn reason your physique to keep extra fat than you decide on it too. yet considering which you're snacking healthily inbetween food i don't see something incorrect with it!! solid success!!
